NOTE: Always remove the key to ensure the machine cannot be inadvertently started before working on your vacuum. Always wear PPE when working on your vacuum, including gloves and eye protection.
After Each Use
☐ Check Engine Oil Level
☐ Clean Any Accumulated Debris From Around the Muffler, Springs, Linkages, Cooling Fins, Cylinder Heads, and Air Intake Covers
☐ Blow Out Engine Cooling Fins With Compressed Air; Failure to Keep Motor Cooling Fins Clear of Debris Could Result in Catastrophic Engine Failure and Void the Warranty
☐ Ensure Proper Ventilation and Reduce the Chance of Insulation Getting in the Fuel Tank
☐ Do Not Run the Vacuum Inside of an Enclosed Box Truck, Trailer, or Building; Doing this Will Result in Engine Damage, Exposure to Carbon Monoxide, or Fire
☐ Make Sure the Vacuum is on a Level Surface Outside Where the Engine Can Receive Fresh Air and Expel Hot Exhaust
☐ Before Shutting Down the Vacuum, Shut Gas Valve Off and Let the Motor Stall Out (Clearing the Gas Line)
☐ ALWAYS Close the Gas Valve and Secure the Vacuum During Transportation (So it Does Not Topple Over)
Weekly
☐ Check Air Filter and Replace as Needed
☐ Check Fuel Tank and Filter for Debris and Clean if Necessary
☐ Verify Torque Ratings on Capscrews of Taper Lock Bushing (192 Inch Pounds)
Monthly
☐ Remove Fan’s Housing Cover to Check for and Remove Any Debris Buildup Inside the Housing
☐ Examine Impeller for Cracks, Bent Blades, or Other Damage
Every 100 Running Hours
☐ Change Oil and Oil Filter
☐ Clean Pre-Cleaner (If Equipped)
☐ Replace Spark Plug
☐ Check Muffler and Spark Arrester
Yearly
☐ Check Valve Clearance and Adjust if Necessary
☐ Change Air Filter
☐ Clean Air Cooling System
☐ Clean Oil Cooler Fins
