The relationships built through the service your company provides customers enables these customers to become your company’s ambassadors. In the age of influencer and relationship marketing, referrals are now a critical component to a successful business.
Not quite sure where to start? Here are three great ways to ask for a referral:
- Send an email. Follow up each TAP Pest Control Insulation install with an email to the customer. Provide follow-up information that the customer may need to know and request that they share their experience with others. - Make a phone call. It’s never too late to ask for a referral. TAP® Pest Control Insulation continues to benefit your customer long after you complete the install. Simply pick up the phone. Check that all of your customer’s expectations have been met. Close the call by asking if they know anyone who would want to seek the benefits of installing TAP® Pest Control Insulation in their home.
- Ask in person. Once you and/or your team finish cleaning up after the install, have a conversation with your customer. Be sure to recap the work you did, but also ask if the customer has any friends or family members who may be interested in adding TAP® Pest Control Insulation to their attic or walls. Leave behind some business cards or marketing materials for your customer to give to any interested parties.
If your customer isn’t sure of any friends or family at the moment, ask them to post a review or share a post online. A satisfied customer is usually willing to provide a referral. Remember, the key is to simply ask!
