The Georgia Pest Control Association Winter Conference takes place at the University of Georgia’s Center for Continuing Education in Athens, Georgia every January and brings together pest management and wildlife professionals from all over Georgia and its surrounding states. Several members of the TAP® Pest Control Insulation team were in attendance over the three days of the conference and had the opportunity to connect with pest control and wildlife operators that are located right in our backyard. Here are three takeaways from the 2019 GPCA Winter Conference:
1. The Georgia Pest Control Association executive and leadership teams understand the importance of providing a top-notch conference complete with something for everyone. The receptions and meals were fantastic. The exhibit areas were ideal for learning about new products and programs for the pest control industry. The sessions were led by some of the biggest names in our industry.
2. The pest control industry treats one another like family. Regardless of the market(s) each company serves, their common mission removes competition and fosters a sense of idea share. The synergy that abounds helps everyone serve their customers better.
3. Athens is an amazing place for the GPCA Winter Conference. The atmosphere is electric and full of innovative ideas and creative processes.
All in all, another fantastic conference was delivered.
